I've added new images to the site. In the Holga portfolio, I've added 9 images that were shot on the Rio Grande, observing a State-run reconstruction of Silvery Minnow Habitat. It's the first group of photos that I conceived as a 9 image grid. I even rode on a flat bottom boat up and down the river. It was awesome. I've also added a copy of "Bosque Grid," which was the piece displayed in the Albuquerque Museum for the Albuquerque Now: Fall show.
On a different visual note, I've added some new images to the Antelope Lake and Dawn Gardens images that were shot at the end of December. Both groups of new images are at the bottom of the grid of thumbnails.
I've published my first book through Blurb, a print on demand press that makes such things affordable. The book has 18 images from my Holga work and a great essay by John Photos. If you're so inclined, you can check it out here.
I now have Facebook. And "the" Twitter. These things will only be used for good. I'll find a way. There's got to be a way... So become my friend and follower; you won't regret it!
The Dowser Married the Alchemist, part of LAND/ART, was the first collaborative exhibition for artists Becky Holtzman and David Ondrik. The show was on display at SCA Contemporary Art from June 19 - July 19, 2009.
I'm one of 25 photographers included in the book Photography: New Mexico, by Thomas F. Barrow, Kristin Barendsen, and Stuart Ashman, and published by Fresco Fine Art Publications. Artists in the book include Joel-Peter Witkin, Patrick Nagatani, Betty Hahn, Holly Roberts, Paul Caponigro, Miguel Gandert, Delilah Montoya, and Edward Ranney to name a few. The book is available from photo-eye or Amazon, and likely more places too!
I am a Photographer's Showcase artist over at the photo eye web site.
